Wounded Paradise by Miss Tanzeem-ul-Hifazat, Magam

Wounded Paradise
by Miss Tanzeem-ul-Hifazat, Magam.
from Tullip Annual College Magazine of Hazrat Imam Hussain a.s. Para Medical Training, College, Bemina, Kashmir

Writers, poets, scholars have written and spoken a lot about Kashmir.
It is a paradise on earth.
But since last two decades this paradise is bleeding day in and day out.
We are counting snow mountains are standing in gloom for the loss of thousands of Kashmiris.

Kashmir is passing through the worst patch of history. There is nobody in Kashmir who is not effected by this turmoil. Among all sections, youth is worst affected.

Thousands became orphan, rendered homeless.
Mother's, daughters, sisters lost their modesty and numberless houses burnt.
Thus turmoil has brought hunger, disease, poverty and people faced innumerable difficulties. Brutal and uncontrolled forces, do whatever they like, under the cover of combating militancy.

When will this paradise regain its glamour.
We are optimistic, the day will dawn and sun of peace and prosperity will rise,
the darkness will shed and fragrance will prevail.
